Insurance and coverage
Delaware law
Delaware requires many insurers to cover IVF (law effective 2019) -- 6 egg retrievals lifetime, unlimited transfers. (We are not sure how this law applies. Check with your insurer.)
Delaware law requires coverage of fertility preservation before treatment that can cause infertility, such as cancer treatment (effective 2018).

What insurers pay this clinic
These are rates insurers have agreed to pay the clinic. They are not your cost and are not part of the prices above.
- CignaIVF case rate: $4,842Sum of rates for IVF services: $883 to $8,740
A negotiated rate is what the insurer has agreed to pay the clinic for a billed service, not the patient's cost; the patient's share depends on the plan's IVF benefit, deductible and coinsurance. A clinic in the insurer's network file with no IVF billing codes suggests the plan likely excludes IVF.
